Oct 19, 2015 2:52 PM in response to viequenseby Phil0124,In short, it is complicated when you move between countries.
Unfortunately, the system is not setup to support more than one country.
If you were to change the country for your Apple ID. All your purchases would become inaccessible from the Purchased section of iTunes.
Change your iTunes Store country or region - Apple Support
- You won't see the items that you purchased from the previous country’s store in your Purchased section.
- You won’t see the items from your iCloud Music Library that you matched, uploaded, or added from the previous country’s store.
Personally, I would stick to the American account, specially for iTunes store purchases. If setup a U.K. account the purchases made with it will forever be tied to it, and can never be merged with your U.S. account. This would just cause trouble than its worth, since your Apps, Music, movies etc.. bought from the U.K store would not be transferable to the U.S. account.
