Thanks, but none of those tips works. The keyboard was working before installed the el capitan upgrade. And it just stopped working after my Imac restarted.

I had problems with my iMac recognizing my USB keyboard as well.  It turns out rebooting my computer with my Fitbit charging cable plugged into one of the the keyboard USB ports was the culprit.  Once I unplugged the fitbit charging cable, the computer recognized the keyboard.  My guess is at boot the fitbit cable was detected and the computer didn't like it being there, so it ignored the keyboard.  I never turn my computer off (just let it go to sleep when not used) so I don't know if the cause was the update to El Capitan, or if the problem would occur whenever I reboot my machine.  Moral of the story, don't have anything plugged into the USB ports on the keyboard when booting the machine.

It happened to me too upon the latest Yosemite / iTunes update (10.10.5). I had to unplug my usb backup drive upon restart. Let's hope Apple fixes this quickly.
