logic pro 9 not showing after logic studio installation

Hi i recently inherited an unused logic pro studio disk set from my brother - He has previously gone ahead and installed it on his Mac but does not use it.

After i installed the studio on my Macbook i found mainstage and other programs but logic pro 9 is no-where to be seen and nothing has come up to suggest a reason for this. I am currently doing the installation again and have selected only logic pro to be installed and will find out shortly how this goes.

However i will not be holding my breath as it seem that perhaps logic pro can only be used on one apple user account?

Could anyone shed any light as to what i could do?

Maybe i have to remove logic pro from his account before i can install it on the mac connected to mine?
