My iphone is not syncing to the cloud since I upgraded to 6S

I upgraded to Iphone 6S and my notes are not syncing to the cloud. I upgraded to 9.0.2 but have not been able to sync notes since I got my new phone.

I have an Ipad Air 2 which syncs fine to the cloud. Does anybody have a solution please? Thanks.
