How do I know if I've received a scam

I have received an email this afternoon, which on first glance looks like it's from Apple. It states at the top that it's from Support Services INC, the email address is comunicazioni@staff.arub. It goes on to say that my Apple ID has been used to purchase an app, on a device not previously in association with my purchase ID. However, I haven't purchased anything for a long while, and I can't find it in my purchase history..... Is this another scam?
