What would cause my 6 year old macbook pro to suddenly have VERY slow wifi connection?
It doesn't matter which web site I go to.
It doesn't matter if I close all other apps.
I have restarted.
It happens with Safari or Firefox.
I have disabled any background uploads like dropbox and flickr.
I have the changed the airport channels but that made no difference either.
No other Apple products (and we have many) in the house are affected. It's only my laptop that is affected.
It started suddenly 3 days ago. I have to wait sometimes 20-30 seconds for web pages to load, even simple pages. And then for a few minutes it loads quickly as normal, then it goes back to being really really slow. And by slow I mean NOTHING moves on the page and then suddenly the page loads.
Ideas?
