Oct 20, 2015 3:42 PM in response to MBannistby John Galt,While AirPrint compatibility is not strictly required, I strongly suggest you omit from consideration any printers that do not offer that feature. Do not equate "wireless" with AirPrint. They are not synonymous.
Nearly all printers or multifunction devices will work with a Mac, but I recommend purchasing one from a company that visibly supports OS X. Brother, Canon, and Epson are all good choices, and in that order. There are no other consumer-grade printer manufacturers worth considering.

Oct 20, 2015 3:46 PM in response to MBannistby Phil0124,HP offers a wide range of OSx and AirPrint compatible printers. It would be my top pick after Brother and Canon.
Epson, I would not recommend to my worst enemy.
