Cannot uninstall Adobe Flash on 10.6.8 nor update Safari to 6...stuck

Very frustrated. My "newer" imac hard drive died this last weekend. Been to Apple twice. Now stuck on old 2007 imac which will not update Safari nor let me run Adobe flash anything. (and all the courses I've bought are using flash). Please help me uninstall Adobe Flash and try and reinstall it so I can get my info as I wait 4 days for my other hard drive to be installed. I keep getting it sent to an old Word program and then it shows up in chinese. Come on. I've tried Firefox, Chrome and of course Safari for 2 hours now and I have had it. No solution works from Apple that I have read.
