Q: Is there a way of just viewing photos via the Camera Connection Kit?

I Have just purchased the iPad Camera Connection KIt thinking and wish to merely view the photos on an SD Card. Anyone know if this can be done?

You will need to import the photos into the iPad's Photos app, the kit will only let you see thumbnail images whilst they are on the card

Unfortunately importing is not an option as I do not have sufficient space on my iPad. I naively thought that as the Camera Connection Kit gave you access to the SD Card there would be a viewing as well as importing. Hey Ho!
