Q: Can I make it display the clock for more than 5 seconds?

Apple Watch, sport, Can I make my watch display for more than 5 seconds before it goes back to black screen? I am a doctor and need to take heart and respiratory rates and need to count the second hand for more than 5 seconds.

Thanks,
Jen Kitchen

Watch app > General > Wake Screen > On Tap (set for 70 seconds).

    Hi Jen

Under watchOS 2 (the current version of Apple Watch software):

    - If you wake the display by raising your wrist, the screen remains awake for up to around 6 seconds - there is presently no option to change this setting.

    - The setting mentioned by George causes the screen to stay awake for up to either 15 seconds or 70 seconds, but applies only when tapping the screen (which will sleep again if you lower your wrist during that period).

If you would like Apple to consider adding other options, you can submit feedback here:
