Q: Compressor 4.2.1 3x service down

3x crash.png

Does anyone have way to clear this?  I've tried two different files.  Both exported from FCPX. Both files would not compress as usual in Compressor 4.2.1.

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5), 2.5 GHz Intel Core i7

Go to Preferences, the Advanced section.  Click "Reset Queue" once and cancel all jobs.  Click it again and select "Repair Compressor".

Thanks for the suggestion.  I've done the "Repair Compressor" suggestion and it didn't work.  Just to be sure, i'm doing another "cancel" and "repair" "advanced" preferences just to be sure.

Any other thoughts or suggestions are welcome.

I'm getting the error when encoding a Standard Definition DVD-originated video to a 768x576 H.264 video for Youtube upload. The crash comes when I select Best (Motion-compensate) retiming quality, even though I'm not retiming but using the original frame rate. Seems like an encoder bug.

Apple please fix this. It's buggy software.

(As much as Procoder 3 on Windows is also buggy and dated now, and can be slow, I'm finding it more intuitive.)
