Q: iMessage not synching with computer

I am going nuts because iMessage does not 'synch' phone and computer. I have checked but cannot find any settings that might fix this. iPhone should work with my desktop and laptop but doesn't. can anyone help please., iPhone 6 plus with iOS 9.9.0.2 and o/s el Capitan on the 2 computers
