I use the DAW Controller Alphatrack since many years. Sins I update to EL Capitan the Controller is not recognized.
Also to install the software again failed. This controller is retired and no new software available.

Actually, I got to launch AlphaTrack Manager in OSX 10.11.3
I followed the instructions as http://www.motunation.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=60691 said. I think switch off SIP it is not necessary but I did all the steps as are described. However, AlphaTrack Manager did not appear on the Finder menu and when I launched manually it said at Status field, "AlphaTrack not available". So, I was checking all the files that I have copied and I did double click to run, ~Library/Application Support/AlphaTrack Assistants/AlphaTrackDaemon and voilà! AlphaTrack Manager appears on the menu bar and it runs with Ableton Live 8 perfectly with MackieHUI drivers.
I hope it helps you, for me it was a delighting time. Now to enjoy again AlphaTrack. 🙂
The new Synclavier drivers for the Alphatrack and the Tranzport (from the motunation link above) also work in macOS Sierra with Ableton Live, iTunes, Cubase/Mackie Control, Studio One, Bitwig and and and... There are some very small restrictions to the original functions, but about 99% is working like a charm, using the well-known manager app under OSX/OS Sierra! I'm really happy now to be able to re-use FrontierDesigns perfect Tranzport device again😍
