Check the vendor website for the Wi-Fi extender. Perhaps they can offer you assistance.
You may have better luck purchasing an AirPort Express to extend your Wi-Fi signal > Wi-Fi base stations: Extending the range of your wireless network by adding additional Wi-Fi base stations

Nov 5, 2015 3:10 AM in response to Brett Lby n j cross,ok so im not a computer expert, but a wifi guide that starts with "check that your wifi is turned on" is just insulting. that my iphone 4 which my brother gave to my mum who then gave to me has no problems joining the wifi, that it worked fine before el captino was installed, you didnt read the question right. it works intermittently . i will add that sometimes the message appears telling me the password is incorrect, which it isnt. it just makes using my macbook "pro" a pain. thanks Apple. another thing, every now and then the pointer disappears and you have to kinda swipe off the edge of the screen and back , and it re appears. not the end of the world, but some sort of really slack programming goin on. remember when you first bought a mac and it was like woahh this is it, this does everything!? well not now, now its just like ahh all computers are as bad as each other. whatever you had, you lost it. judging by the stupid replies, i wont need an answer.
