Mac OS X
Q: Thunderbolt Extension Cable
When using an iMac on a desk, the ports are rather hard to get to.
Constantly plugging and unplugging will damage the ports.
Using an extension cable on these ports is the best option, short USB cables are available for the USB ports.
The Thunderbolt/Mini Display ports are not catered for, despite the thousands of requests of people looking for an adaptor for this.
A short 0.5 metre male to female Thunderbolt adaptor would be an ideal add-on for iMac's, with the ports hidden and almost un-reachable
and those people with drives that have very short cables.
WHY is such a cable not available?
iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8)
