Wondering if a couple Lightning Cables I purchased are unique or fake. They both have the same serial numbers, so I'm skeptical about their authenticity. Also, the ends were wrapped in a translucent blue tape which seems unusual for an Apple product to me.

The only thing printed on my lightning cable from Apple is a gray USB symbol.
Apple lightening cables do not have serial numbers (the charging blocks do, however.)
Where did you purchase them?
Evidently new as of the 6s release. But again, where did you buy the cables?
Is each lightning cable serial number unique?
