ipad Air 2 split screen Apps - is it true!?

Hello,

I would like to purchase an iPad Air 2 , and one key feature i like about is the multitasking options and swipping from the right hand side and to do split apps.

The Apple website , as i read it, says the new iPad Air 2 in the UK 2015 is with iso9 and split screen Apps is a feature.

Ive seen you tube videos showing you how it works and how to do it.

So imagine my confistion when Yesterday i went to the Apple store in the trafford centre and was told YOU CANT do split screen Apps on iPad Air 2, only on iPad Pro, to be lauched in November.

Was she wrong? If so - what the **** is she doing working in an Apple store!

so, PLEASE, can the wonderful Apple community tell me that if i go into an Apple store and purchase in October 2015 in the UK an iPad Air 2 - it comes with ISO 9 installed AND it will do split screen Apps?

thanks.

You're welcome. I even have the Ipad User Guide to back me up. 🙂

“Slide Over: (iPad Air, iPad Air 2, iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3, and iPad mini 4) When you’re working in one app, swipe from the right side of the screen to view and work with a second app. Swipe down to pick a different app. See Slide Over.

Split View: (iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 4) Tap the app divider to keep two apps open and active at the same time. Drag the divider to resize the app pane. See Split View.

Picture in Picture: (iPad Air, iPad Air 2, iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3, and iPad mini 4) As a video plays (or during a FaceTime video call), press the Home button and the video scales”
