I have TS4088 issue as i recently upgraded my Mid 2010 MBP. How can i fix this? I would never have upgraded had I known of this issue and I feel Apple should of at least sent out a FAX to warn or make users aware of the issue.

Can i somehow disconnect the graphics which I am told is the problem with the upgrade?

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11)
