Q: Ipod Touch 4th gen sync issues

I've had issues with my iPod Touch 4th gen. It can't sync. The process stops randomly on a track stating "could not copy (track) because the file could not be read". If I try again, the previously stated track syncs and the process stops on another random track.

I've already:

- Updated iTunes 12.3.0.44

- Updated the iPod to 6.1.6

- Reset the iPod

- Restore the iPod

- Unistalled the Apple Device Drivers and let iTunes/the iPod reinstall them

- Tried restore once again and iTunes gave me a "Cannot restore iPod because of unknown problem (14)". Had to install iTunes on another computer to complete the restore process

- Tried a different USB port

- Tried a different cable

- Selected the "Turn off hard drives: never" setting

- Tried going for Apple Support. Sent me an email asking to click on a diagnostic tool on my device. Clicking the button does nothing and manually entering the tool address send me to a "file not found"...

My OS is Windows 10. Every track can be read/played using iTunes without problems.

Searching for a solution proved unfruitful. If the question was asked before and a solution found, please point me in the right direction.

Can anyone help me?

iPod touch, Windows 10

    Check your USB connections

    Errors: 13, 14, 1600, 1601, 1602, 1603, 1604, 1611, 1643-1650, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2009, 4005, 4013, 4014. You might also see a message that includes "invalid response."

If the USB connection between your device and computer is interrupted, you might not be able to update or restore.

To narrow down the issue, try different equipment:

If you still see the error message, check for hardware issues.

Already did those 2 troubleshoots. I'm trying to move my library to another computer to see if the sync issue still persists.

I forgot to mention I have an old iPod Classic 5th gen laying around and trying to sync it doesn't reproduce the issue.

I don't seem to have sync issue on another computer. I'm going to retry to check for security software or hardware issues.

Connectivity and security sofwares seem fine. Pinging the iPod's address works. iTunes is allowed through the firewall. Disabling every security does not resolve the issue. Multiple restorations did not resolve the issue previously.

I was at the 4th point: "Contact Apple Support" and, well, see the last point of the original post to see how that turned out...
