I receive this code if I try to remove an old company's Shared VPN folder shortcut from my Finder's "Favorites" SidebarUser uploaded file

The folder I am trying to delete PERMANENTLY out of that column is attached here:

User uploaded file

And if I even CLICK on the old Company folder to try to delete it, I get this error:

User uploaded file

How do I delete them? I have tried it every way I know. Anybody? Here are the specs of my machine:

Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.5), iPhone! iPad! iPod!

Usually you can just drag and drop the items to desktop where there is nothing. That will remove them from the sidebar. If you are getting an error that you need to connect the server, it might be good if you can connect up a device that has the IP address in question on your LAN, so it isn't searching for that IP address. 192 is a local area network address, not an internet address.

Yep, drag out doesn't work. I get the error codes just by clicking them, and they are 100% unresponsive. I cannot re-connect to the server the shortcuts went to, because I am no longer at the company I worked for, and their idiotic IT folks just yanked the plug without proper dissolution of the account.o, I guess I might have to consider going in and totally re-installing my entire System OS, just to fix THEIR ineptitude... Wonderful.
