I cannot even get to Preferences or the About info. The modal sign in screen pops up immediately and locks me out of every other menuItem and fxn. Is there a later fix? Or do I just start using Preview for everything. (I would hate to lose the annotation features of Reader, but this coercion is egregious.) Thanks.
Go into the Preferences and select Security. There should be a choice to help you there.
Thank you. Your suggestion, I don't know if it worked or not, but helped me to think about other possibilities. First I went to SECURITY and unchecked the signature button. That didn't work. --Then I went into Adobe Acrobat Professional and unchecked the 2 radio buttons "Adobe blah blah blah want to improve your settings". I quit and turn on again and... voila. It was maybe a combination of both moves, or maybe it was just enough with what you suggested.
