How do I shut off sounds, notifications while I'm shooting video on my iPhone 6 plus

about to shoot a long video for business but don't want my hundreds of alarms, sounds, reminders, phone calls, texts, etc to come in and disturb the video. Is it just as simple as "Do Not Disturb" with all the allowances shut off?

I sure hope so.

-Thanks, JJ :-)

Yes, that's the one you need. However a few things to consider though:

1. you need to set it to 'manual' and don't allow calls from anyone

2. repeated calls should be off

3. scheduled should be off

4. silence should be set to "Always"

5. this won't work if you have set an alarm with your clock app. e.g. a timer, that one will still stop the recording of your video.

Thanks for pointing out that it was the Do Not Disturb function. I wish the above 'tested' settings are helpful for everyone.

Cheers!
