May 17, 2016 9:08 PM in response to maepyongby ExplodingMantis,This issue has been occurring on my machine for a long time, I just got annoyed enough to google a fix. Doesn't appear that there is one yet. I'm running the latest version of El Capitan. Issue constantly causes me to open the wrong programs.
Edit: Realized I still need to update to 10.11.5. Updating now, will hopefully fix the issue.

May 20, 2016 2:19 AM in response to Cristian Moiseiby eskapism,I also had this problem for a very long time. Very annoying. However it seems like 10.11.5 (15F34) finally solved it for me. Don't think I've had the problem after the update.
