Q: Photos app photos not available under Media from other apps

Apple, PLEASE include this fix in the next OS update.

 

1) iPhoto is set as the System Photo Library.  I do not have any photo options turned on for iCloud.

 

2) Photos are showing fine in iPhoto.

 

3) Photos are not available for insertion in documents for ANY apps, such as Word or Pages, other than iMail when you choose "Insert Picture/Photo" from the app, then select "Media - Photos."  Screen shot is attached.

A:

1. iphoto is not set as your system library, there is no such setting for iPhoto. You mean Photos.

 

2. Therefore I guess the images are showing fine in Photos.

 

3 In the screenshot you're showing (or trying to show) the Photos Library via the Media Browser
