I understand that your trackpad on your MacBook Pro isn't as responsive as it could be. Let's see if we can figure out what is going on. 

I would start your troubleshooting by taking a look at the article below. It will have you check the power adapter to make sure it isn't a third party adapter as well as making sure the surface is clean as well as your hands.
