Dec 30, 2015 12:30 PM in response to anthony4811by will1814,I had the same problem and found a solution that you probably already have tried; un-install all software authored by Apple Inc then do a refresh install of itunes. The key is uninstalling "all" apple software. Go to the Settings/Systems/ apps literally start going down the list of installed apps. I found a bunch of Apple related apps still installed on my computer. I potentially found the one that caused the "Windows Installer" error when you try and install itunes. As such, I had to repair that app first before I could uninstall it which you can do if you click on the Modify option. It was the Bonjour app. After I uninstalled that app, I tried to re-install iTunes again and it ran smooth. It may be worth mentioning that I also tried installing the visual C++ files as well before I manually looked for and uninstall those apps. Hopes this helps
