GPS problem iPhone 6S

I have problems with my iPhones gps to locate satellites using Waze, NAVIGO and maps all having the same problem. Use to have a 4, 4s, 5, 5s, 6 now 6S and during the same line of travel I have never lost contact with satellites. I'm currently running iOS 9.1. I have restarted, re installed, re booted. But get the same result. Do you have any good tips on what to do?

I got 3 to but it has worked with the GPS all week with 4G. It had some problems last week which makes me wonder if this is an 3 problem ?

I called 3 and they didn't even know that the issue could be... they haven't yet called me back either.

Im gonna change form 3 to Tele2 , they go much better speeds on 4G vs 3.

I have this problem with my iPhone 6, my navigation apps stopped working when I upgraded 9.01 and the issues have not been resolved for me with 9.02 or 9.1 upgrades. My navigation apps have worked maybe 3 times total over the last couple of months, I attempt to use them still on a daily basis even though they have been incredibly inconsistent.

I had absolutely no issues with my iPhone and using the navigation before upgraded it in September, the navigation has worked fine for almost a year, nothing else that I know of has changed except for the fact that I upgraded my phone. I have tried resetting, turning off and on, taking off the case, and everything I can think of/ find online.. Nothing has helped.

I have never considered switching to a different brand until now, this navigation/location issue is causing major issues for me.

Hello everybody,

Same problem for me. I've the issue when the automatic switch 3G/4G is enabled. I've disabled the 4G and the GPS signal is ok.

The Apple Assistance has made a phone diagnostic, the result is a 4G problem of my operator ... Apple assistance say me that the phone use data connection to sync gps signal --> No 4G -> No GPS ... I think thaht IOS has a problem, during the phone search 4G signal, even if the 3G signal is good, the gps signal is poor or offline.

Regards,

Geoffrey

Just to add an element to the discussion i've noticed that often the compass give wrong indications but always in the same direction when it is incorrect.

When incorrect it always put the north between 25 and 45 degree shifted towards west.

I don't know how it works the whole thing but if the compass give to the system wrong data this should greatly affect the whole navigation process that has to face an increasing amount of incoherent data as the navigation proceed...
