Jan 19, 2016 5:24 AM in response to turingtest2by m171621,OK I finally found the solution:
1. Use the software such as "Universal Extractor" to unpack the "AppleMobileDeviceSupport6464.msi"
2. Look for the \USBDrivers and \NetDrivers in the directory \AppleMobileDeviceSupport6464\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support, copy all files of usbDrivers into C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\usbaapl64.inf_amd64_14c8400756ec 0e3b and all files of netdrivers into C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\netaapl64.inf_amd64_56f23639c961 7984, keep these two folders when installing the new iTunes software and support drivers
3. Now try to reinstall AppleMobileDeviceSupport6464.msi, the problem should be solved by now
I still don't know what is the mechanism that cause this problem, but looks like it works instead of completely reinstalling the whole Windows OS~~~~
