Having to say 'Hey Siri' twice most of the time

Although the "Hey Siri" voice wake activation for Siri is a cool feature that proves to be most valuable, I'm finding to incredible frustration that I'm having to speak "Her Siri" twice 90% of the time in order for it to work.

Ive tried different ways of speaking it, i.e. speaking clearly, fast, slow, no background noise, close to mic, further away, loudmy, softly, without earpiece/Bluetooth, with; it does not seem to matter. It mostly the second "Hey Siri" that does it yet bafflingly I'd say only 10% of the time it works first time round.

Any solutions?

Would appear that iOS 9.1 update has cured this. Hours later after posting this I noticed an update became available in my iTunes (on laptop) and opted for the quicker delta update within iPhone; after this the "Hey Siri" command doesn't appear to need a second "Hey Siri" to activate - wonderful.

I now have a temperamental/occasional unlocking of iPhone from lock screen to home screen glitch (when using fingerprint unlock. Oh well!
