Q: Will the new update (10.1.1) resolve problems

when restarting or shutting down , where by El Capitan fails to load upon restart ???!!!!

 

All get is the apple logo with black screen with loading bar! But nothing happens it want load the system . I have had to reinstall the system 4 times already!!!

    Try starting up in Safe Mode and install  it from there. Otherwise you have either hardware or serious third part conflict issues.

    Hi, I have tried that . Its only I can dowland the system any way, and make no difference .

     

    I did not want do this update as it require a restart !!!

     

    Might be case of do it and see.

    I think you have major computer issues that need to be seen to by an Authorised Apple Repairer. The new update will not help a Mac in such condition.

    Wish apple would get it right for once. My computer ran fine before the update to El Capitan.

     

    Apple want pay for the repairs to me Mac caused by there update will they !!!

     

    I have never had a problem for Mac or update from Mac!!!

    Well you have an issue now, and one that we cannot help you with here as other users. Either take it in for repair or use it as is. Often Updates simply find out hardware that is about to pack it in. Also you may have a computer full of third party crap that will not work with El Capitan. With the almost non existant info you have given us to work with, then taking it in to be looked at is your only option. If it is out of warranty then pay some other Bozo to look at it so you feel more comfortable about not paying Apple.

    I came here for bit of help. Im not big into computers . All I know is it worked fine before and now it dos not. Thats all the info I can give you .

    It still goes. Either get it checked out or live with it. We are just other users here with no physical access to your Mac. What do you expect us to do?
