Q: My USB keyboard has centre line keys from the Caps Lock to the H Key (from the left) are not working. There has been no spills or drops any ideas?
My USB keyboard has 7 keys that are not responding, the Caps Lock to the H from the left hand side. To my knowledge nothing has been dropped or spilled on it. I have removed the keys to clean and check for damage, there is nothing to see. Does anyone know if there is anything can be done or if this is a normal problem? The keyboard is not that old, I think its about 2 years old so don't think its normal wear and tear.
iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

Try resetting the SMC and PRAM (may take 2-3 tries) per Intel iMac SMC and PRAM resets. If that does not work, try another keyboard. If the other keyboard works, then you know your original keyboard needs to be replaced.
