live photos

No way I can transfer a live photo to another mac. On my iCloud devices everything is oke. When Iam trying to copy a live photo to the iCloud account of my wife (she delivered today, beautiful daughter) but it's just a picture, no live tag on the bottom !! Tried airdrop, tried copy to USB, tried iMessage, tried export. Off course all running latest software, updated today. All iOS 9, 10.11.

Should be a big bug, nothing on google... Yet...

I ran in this Problem, too. I´m very unhappy with Apple for this. It is simply rediculous that you cannot sync Live Photos via Photostream but with a shared folder. The more that Apple is advertising sync all the way for photos. The only Information about it is find in the FAQ for "My Photo Stream":

"Which photo formats can I use with My Photo Stream?

My Photo Stream supports JPEG, TIFF, PNG, and most RAW photo formats. My Photo Stream doesn't support video or Live Photos."

No average user would even consider that live photos cannot be synced the usual way and the manual for the photos app pretend for the average reader that it should work that way.

For it works with a shared folder (i have to share photos with myself…) and on the web-browser on icloud.com, i am very sure that Apple has failed here. Sharing doesn´t require some Hoghwarts-developed technology and it cannot be because of to much web traffic for RAW are not that small either.

I´m a bit confused. Hope that Apple fix this and mention it prominently.
