Q: When updating to both Server 5.0.14 & 5.0.15, it gets perpetually stuck on "Preparing Calendar Service."  Any ideas on how to get around this?

    Hi John,

     

    It normally takes a little time with "Preparing Calendar Service" Can be 10 minutes or more. Give it a bit of time. If in the end, your CS is not running, have a good look at your certificates. You might have some expired. However, I found with the latest update that it was actually checking to update some?

     

    There were previous problems as well with CS in Server 4. You might benefit from reading that.

     

    John Lockwood, Mr Hoffman or Linc Davis might have some other suggestions.

    Had the same problem.  Turned out to be a permissions problem with /Library/Server/Calendar and Contacts/.
