Lags when listening

Same here. Both on OS X El Capitan (10.11) (Mac Mini) and on Windows 10 Home Edition (my laptop).

I don't use Apple Music everyday, but this never happened before.

Which iTunes version are you using? I'm using the very latest on both my computers.

Worst thing of all. I open Spotify - no lags, play start up immediately, no problem. SRSLY, Apple?

Same problem here, in LA. Only the Beats1 plays without pauses, everything else is down.

I am cancelling now Apple Music subscription, this is pathethic.

I've cancelled as well. Had a week remaining on my free trial. It worked fine in the past, but now it's terrible. Not going to spend 10 euro's on a service that is not reliable.

I've decided to give Spotify Premium a shot. Free month, and it works flawlessly so far.

Yep, I used to have Spotify Premium subscription for over a year and this never happened. My trial of Apple Music has finished on Oct 6th and I paid EUR 7.99 for Family Subscription, but for 2 people Spotify is a better deal and it WORKS.

Even now I am streaming on free spotify better than Apple music paid service.

Same thing here. just updated to iTunes 12.3.1.23 and OS X 10.11.1. It's impossible to listen anything on Apple Music: lags and slow buffer. blue bar when you try to play a track. it's a shame

Checking in here with the same problem. A good portion of my songs either fail to stream, or suddenly cut off in the middle now. Very disappointed since Spotify works perfectly. I really enjoy the integration with the OS and Siri the Apple Music has to offer, but if the songs don't even play, I might have to go back to Spotify.

Problem here in Denmark too - haven't really experienced it before .. seems to be worst on iTunes - a little better on iOS. Apple REALLY needs to get this fixed yesterday, if they want to stay in this game!! .. guess the best way is to cancel membership, since decreasing income seems to be the only message they understand :/

Horrible. And unusable. I'm getting less than a few seconds of playback before each dropout, and each dropout is lasting many seconds.

Same problem here. Songs pause every few seconds as the stream catches up. Only way round it as far as I can tell is to manually download the albums you want to listen to. This problem has only occurred since updating iTunes yesterday.

Honestly it's one thing or another with this Apple Music service. First it was iTunes Match mismatching songs. Then there is a problem where Apple Music simply refuses to play certain songs (still not resolved). Now this. I'm willing to cut these applications slack for bugs and so forth but this software just doesn't play music properly. Say what you like about Spotify but I never had a problem actually playing music with it. You chose an album and it played from start to finish.

I feel like I'm permanently waiting for software updates from Apple at the moment in the hope that whatever current technical problem will be fixed.

I have the same problem as well on my MacBook Pro and iPhone 5S from Hungary. An interesting part as I think is that there are no lags when using Apple Music via data plan. I did not experience this kind of behavior before updated to El Capitan 10.11.1 and iOS 9.1.
