Oct 22, 2015 12:59 PM in response to Loner Tby Casperelli,Yes forgive my autocorrect. It's quite possibly a USB2 Cruzr Blade, I have an external drive but it's very old so wouldn't think it would be USB3. I don't have a superdrive unfortunately.

Oct 22, 2015 1:03 PM in response to Casperelliby Loner T,Your 2015 iMac will create a USB installer (if necessary) on a USB2 flash drive using a Windows ISO. Do you see an OSXRESERVED partition during your installation attempts?
You may looked at this already but please see How to install Windows using Boot Camp - Apple Support .
At what stage does the problem occur? Black screen when Windows boots up, BCA cannot create USB, etc... ?

Oct 22, 2015 1:09 PM in response to Loner Tby Casperelli,Doesn't even get that far, also doesn't seem to install the windows support software. It has created the bootcamp partition which has nothing on it, when it re-started it had a prohibited symbol and wouldn't do anything. Tried restarting and pressing option but it does give me any options other than macintosh hd. Am going to try a difference USB
