Is your phone jailbroken? Have you tried to restart, reset, or restore your phone? Telling us what you've done so far will net you much more intelligent answers.
Best,
GDG
It is not jailbroken. In order to remove the error I have restarted the phone and turned off the wifi settings.
No I haven't restored it yet.
Restore from backup. If the issue persists, restore as a NEW device, not using backup at all since the problem might be with corrupt data in the backup. If the issue persists after restoring as NEW, then you've done all the troubleshooting possible and will need to bring your phone to Apple for evaluation.
Best,
GDG
Thank you. I will give it a try.
sglover165,
I was just able to correct this seemingly exact problem this morning. First, do you have an wireless extender near your location? If so, your iPhone may be trying to automatically connect to that device which drives the "iosapp.itunes.apple.com:80" message. First action, unplug and/or power off that extender. Next, go to "Settings"/"General"/Wi-Fi--and locate the extenders wifi name and "Forget" that network. Restart your iPhone. Your problem should be taken care of.
If you need to power on your extender, your iPhone will no longer automatically try to connect to that device.
I hope this works for you. It did work for me.
Best Wishes
