Hi s

Splits

There is no stright right on way.

a. If You just done the split - Undo (cmd Z)

b. If that is not an option there is a buy - plug-in that can do this

c. You can export the two clips to Camera and re-import (with the x in
import as individual clips - turned off in iMovie pref) - or - export out
as a QT movie and re-import this.

I use the Camera back and forth method.

It is rarely necessary to do this - just when You need to add a transition and
the clip become to short to make it possibly.

Hi schmoel - apart from Bengt's good suggestions, there is another way to remove a split.
1. Create a text-less title that spans the exact duration of the two portions of the original un-split clip.
2. Position this title in the normal way.

It will join the two segments together.

Remember, though, that re-joining them is possibly not necessary at all. They will play perfectly well without being physically joined.
