The health app doesn't record any of my activity. It doesn't save any of my basic information like my DOB. I was able to create my medical ID.
I'm still not sure that I understand. You can create a Medical ID but your D.o.B. doesn't appear?
Or the health app doesn't record your walking steps?

You're suggesting that the 9to5mac web site has priority over Apple's non-disclosure agreement?

Nov 10, 2015 1:04 PM in response to Philly_Phanby RAllMixedUp,It doesn't record my steps. In the heath data section where it says "Me" I enter the info there but when I go back to the previous screen and then return to the Me section all the info I entered is gone.

Nuts. That's not the issue that I was alluding to. Sorry.

Try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.

Nov 10, 2015 2:05 PM in response to Philly_Phanby MidwayFlux,I'm not suggesting anything other than what I said in the other comment. Someone else already posted a comment saying that update did not help/fix anything. I can appreciate your "level 6'ness", but come on. We're just trying to help each other out and get this issue resolved.

Nov 10, 2015 10:20 PM in response to japhyby Adnan_Z_Manjal,I read somewhere that usually bug fixes in iOS updates don't appear in the beta versions, only the official releases. Beta focuses on new, added and improved features, it seems. I hope the person at Apple was sincere and that are working on a fix in 9.2.... And I hope that fix comes very soon.

Nov 10, 2015 11:39 PM in response to Drashad86by arturcmc,So, after one week of trying all suggested solutions in this thread and bouncing between US and Russian Apple support I gave up on fixing this problem.
I came up with following workaround:
1) create new ID
2) put old and new ID in family sharing to save all purchaces
3) transfer all data from old icloud to new icloud.
4) delete apple music subscription from old id and buy for new id
I know it is not convinient, but at least my iphone is not that useless brick anymore.
Using iOS 9.2 public beta right now btw.

Nov 11, 2015 5:59 AM in response to Drashad86by Adnan_Z_Manjal,So the Senior AppleCare advisor (Middle East) I've been communicating wth for 3 weeks, called me and asked for permission that the engineering team needs to access my Apple ID account. Which after lengthy explanations and confirmations I granted them.
He said that the engineers have been very busy lately squishing bugs since iOS 9.
He also said they might take some days before they get back to me.
Let's see what they say eventually.

Nov 11, 2015 6:09 AM in response to Adnan_Z_Manjalby arturcmc,Same thing here in Russia. During phone call they asked to provide screenshots of bugs and informed that they most probably will conact me to ask permission to access my apple id.

Nov 11, 2015 9:46 AM in response to pinkoosby Jazzmast3r,@pinkoos, at first I thought the problem might be related to the way I updated to 9.1 but that question was answered when I got my new 6s this week and did an OTA update. All the issues I was having on my 5s, which I updated with iTunes, manifested on the 6s. So it's not the way you update your device that causes this bug - it's clearly the OS that is causing it.
If I had found this thread while I still had my 5s I wouldn't have updated the 6s phone when it arrived. Like many here, apple tech support tells me this is a unique issue with me and that they have not heard of similar issues affecting other users. And I'm experiencing every issue noted on this thread.
My phone is really just useless at this point and I'm thinking about setting up a new Apple ID with family sharing enabled from my Old Apple ID to access purchases. Never tried this and for anyone who has done this, how difficult is it to this? Thanks.

Nov 11, 2015 9:53 AM in response to pinkoosby Jazzmast3r,For those asking the question if Family Sharing enabled could be a factor? I have never had this feature enabled on my device, or my other family member's devices. So I don't believe this caused the issue with our Apple ID. And since some folks have enabled family sharing with a NEW Apple ID to get things back to normal I'm contemplating doing the same.
