Cannot update El Kapitan 10.11.1.

Dear Apple,

After updating to El Kapitan 10.11.1 today, during installation the screen freeze and cannot verify. I have to manually turn off the power button.

Already having the syncing problem with iTunes 12.3.0.44 - cannot sync with my iOS 9.0.2 updates. It won't let me update all my purchases or transfer purchases at all.

I had just updated my iOS to 9.1 last night.

Please advice what shall I do?

I am having the same problem. It downloads the update and starts to install. During installation the screen freezes with this screen shot that I have attached.

I did restart the machine and the update download resumes at 90% and then started to install the update again with the same problem.

Transferring app purchases and updates from an iDevice has been discontinued

with iOS9 and iTunes12.3 due to "app thinning".

The "new and improved method" is:

-Install the new app or update on iDevice.

-Open iTunes (no need to have device attached), log into iTunes store.

-Go to Apps->Updates and click Update all to download updates to computer

-In Preferences->Store check Automatically download purchases on other devices

and check the box for apps (note: you need to log in to iTunes Store to make changes).

Isn't this soooooo much easier than just uploading from the iDevice!!!!!!
