I need to convert a jpeg picture to eps to have embroidery done. Any suggestions? Thanks

Adobe Acrobat can create such files, if you import a PDF or photo to Acrobat:
If you have the Darwinports for free unix commands installed, you can also use the the Terminal "convert" tool to convert PDF files to EPS files.
By default an exported .eps file will open in Preview, and Preview converts it to a PDF file, because there is no native Mac application that can display eps files without converting them.
Have a look at the File > Get Info panel for your eps file:
When I select the file and press ⌘I to open the Info panel, I'll see:
After opening the file in Preview, you'll see two files, the original eps file and the converted PDF.
That's an Adobe Illustrator file. AN app like Graphic Converter should do that for you:
I tried this on a free trial of Acrobat Pro. It says I exported it to my desktop as .eps but when I open the picture, it shows .pdf.
