"Best Desktop Search for Windows and Microsoft Outlook to help you search and find your files, emails & documents on your computer."
What were you using Copernic for? Were you searching inside of documents and emails, or just on file names?
For file names, I use:
"Find Any File"
http://apps.tempel.org/FindAnyFile/
If interested, I have a bunch of one line commands for searching in the terminal.
You could try running, Copernic in Wine [ for adventure in your life ].

Oct 23, 2015 12:23 PM in response to leroydouglasby Monroe@1963,Many thanks. Spotlight seemed to work but I'm now trying to do Boolean searches on Spotlight. I want to search text in files and text in files which are in folders? Do-able?
