A Mac has no need for apps that claim to clean it or increase performance.

Instead please post what problems you are seeing that are causing you concern. Another way would be to download and install EtreCheck from http://www.etresoft.com/etrecheck

Run it and post the report here. This will give us a snapshot of your Mac which would be helpful to analyze your Mac.

You need to increase RAM. While the 2 GB of RAM is the minimum for El Capitan to install, if you want to do anything on the Mac you need more.

A good site to go to for RAM is crucial.com. You can download a scanner from there which will scanner Mac and report back to Crucial. They will then return a complete report on your RAM and all of the alternative you have.

would increasing to 4GB solve the issues.

Why don't you run the scanner from Crucial and find out exactly what your alternatives are?

Yes, 4 GB would be better but if your Mac will support more then that it might even give you greater increase in performance to go for more. Currently for only running 2 hours since the last boot, you have an huge amount of processes killed for lack of RAM.

I do not mean to answer for my friend Allan, but if I were you, I would add as much as my Mac would hold.

RAM is the system resource that all processes use. If a process cannot get REAL RAM, it will swap to Virtual Memory (disk is MUCH slower - thus, the Mac seems slow)
