Problems with Pages after iOS 9.1 update

I have both an iPad Air running iOS 9.1 and an iPhone 6 running iOS 9.1. This problem developed on both devices after I updated them to iOS 9.1. When I open the Pages app it begins to update the documents (you can see the word Update in the upper righthand corner) and then it suddenly closes out the app. As a result I can not access my Pages documents nor can I use Pages to create a new document. This is a real problem. I have hundreds of files in Pages and I use them regularly as part of my work flow. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know of any fixes for the problem? I did not have this problem on either device running iOS 9.02. Please help!
