keep getting corrupted backup message. have deleted all backups, reset the iPod, restarted my iMac and still getting the same message even though iTunes says its never been backed up to this computer. any suggestions

Have you tried:
iOS: If you can't back up or restore from a backup in iTunes
Can you try backing up to another computer? This will help determine if iPod or computer problem
none of it helped, don't have a second computer to try.
The only think left is to
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
