Can't pair iPhone 5 (IOS 9.1) to Bose SoundLink Mini

This combo has been working fine, but after the latest IOS upgrade, it wouldn't link anymore. Reset both Bose speaker and iPhone network. Still can't pair. Does it have something to do with a conflict between AirPlay and BlueTooth and/or the IOS upgrade? How to fix?

There have been a LOT of complaints regarding Bose systems and iOS devices. Pretty much every time there is an iOS device, another generation of Bose devices refuse to work with them.
