whats taking up my harddrive?

I have scrubbed my harddrive and something is eating up tons of space and I don't know what it is. I have almost nothing on my harddrive now, I don't know what "other" is. When I use the disk map app it shows pictures as being the vast majority of my harddrive space but that is only 16 GB!! What is eating up all my space??
