computer won't recognize wireless keyboard or mouse

I brought my imac to my new apartment & when I turn it on it won't recognize my wireless keyboard or mouse. The keyboard blinks but doesn't connect & the mouse doesn't light up or work. It won't even let me sign in. Batteries are fully charged. I've turned it on and off without connection issues in the past the only difference is im in a new apartment/new network. Help!

Hi, LeslieW85.

Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.

I understand that your keyboard and mouse are not being recognized by your iMac. If a restart of your iMac does not resolve the issue, try acquiring a wired keyboard or mouse temporarily to go through the troubleshooting steps in the article below.

If your Apple wireless mouse, keyboard, or trackpad aren't working as expected

Cheers
