Q: the update wont finish

i went to update my ipod touch and it never finished updating, I turn it on and it has a white screen that says slide to update and then I slide and it starts the update again then it fully loads and repeats saying slide to update.

iPod touch, iOS 9.0.1

Try:
- If the Slide to Upgrade screen won't go away after you update to iOS 9
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Next try connecting to computer and restore via iTunes
