Q: Fotostream on iCloud.com vs. iOS devices

Dear community,

I am having my fotostream activated on my Mac OSX10.11 El Capitain.

On my iOS Devices, I do have full visibility of the fotostream loaded, so no issue there.

However when logging in to iCloud.com, there are only few fotos in the foto app.

Not sure why they are loaded whilst all the other (900) are missing.

Anybody having some advise for me?

    Hello Tanns Boris,

Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.

It appears that you have My Photo Stream on your Mac and iOS devices, but don't see the pictures in the Photos app on iCloud.com.

Are the other 900 pictures you mentioned all from Photo Stream? If so, it sounds like you might have iCloud Photo Library enabled on one of your devices. When you view Photos on iCloud.com, you'll only see pictures synced from device(s) that have iCloud Photo Library enabled.

For more information, see Get help with your iCloud Photo Library:

What happened to the My Photo Stream album?

When you turn on iCloud Photo Library, all of your original photos and videos are organized in one library. My Photo Stream uploads recent photos to share with your devices that don't have iCloud Photo Library enabled.

Why can't I see some My Photo Stream photos in my iCloud Photo Library?

If you add photos to My Photo Stream, they will be added to the All Photos album on your devices that have iCloud Photo Library enabled. You won't see a separate My Photo Stream album.

If you have both iCloud Photo Library and My Photo Stream enabled on a device, any new photos you add to your library or take with your iOS device will be added to My Photo Stream, so you can view and import them to any device that isn't using iCloud Photo Library.

The advice on these two pages can help with setting up and managing iCloud Photo Library and My Photo Stream:

    All the best.

    Hi Jeremy,

    thanks for your hint.

You' re right: all the 900 pics mentioned are from Photo Stream.

However I have been checking all accounts and devices: none of them is having iCloud Photo Library activated.

All are running on My Photo Stream and iCloud-Share.

So apparently I am still stuck....

    Any further ideas?

    Thanks much

    Hi there,

    Thanks for your reply.

I see that none of your devices have iCloud Photo Library enabled. Due to the nature of the issue, I'd recommend contacting Apple Support using one of the method on this page--https://expresslane.apple.com/GetproductgroupList.action.

    Best Regards.
