Q: Apple ID Verification keeps popping up

Hi. I am using iPhone 5S iOS 9.1. Whenever I sign in to the phone I will see this message. (screenshot below)

I reset my phone so many times. I even tried to reset it using DFU mode. I don't know why is this happening. The phone says Apple ID Verification, Enter the password. So I enter the password. But whenever I restart the phone it will pop up again and asks the same thing to enter the Apple ID password. Please fix this, it is really annoying. I tried Sign Out and Sign In in settings and the message still appears when ever I restarts the phone. Please help me. Any help would be appreciated.

It's OBVIOUS to me that APPLE DON'T care about US "I mean apple users"  From what I have read, I Have a Mac & 2 IPhone 5s and that’s it for Me & Apple. No More. Apple you keep your “not working proper” Equipment, Updates & I’ll keep my money.

What seems to have help my 6s+ on 9.2 was to sign out of face time and then back in. This phone was also setup as new on 9.1 and then updated to 9.2.

    Go to settings

    Icloud settings

scroll down to share my location and turn off.

Message immediately disappears and has not come back.

This seems to have helped. I have not restarted my iPhone yet tho but I noticed when I switched FaceTime off then switch it back on, the prompt immediately appeared.

Also it's because I don't have my email set up for FaceTime. Only my number. I have added my email now.

I'm going to restart my iPhone now (iPhone 6s Plus 128gb gold) and will see.

Running 9.1 (I don't like updating). Phone is 2 weeks old

UPDATE: This definitely worked! I've restarted my iPhone and no message appeared!!!

    Thank you for the tip!!!

This started for me since yesterday. I signed up for LinkedIn and linked my iCloud account to let the network find contact suggestions for me. Some time later I got some form of notification on my iphone (not able to track it in an email) saying my icloud account was blocked cause of unsecured access and i need to reset my password.

i resetted my password. have signed out of all devices and signed in again. have rebooted all devices. but this still keeps popping on my iphone. it has stopped popping on my mac. will check on my other iphone and ipad and post here.

It's facetime/imessage that's asking for your email address. At least it's what it's doing with mine whenever this happens. It's not happened for a couple of weeks tho. But everytime I get this, my imessage has lost my email address so I just add it on and the message stops appearing.

I found an answer to this post in another post. For the benefit of everybody I am reposting that. Go to settings>itunes&app store>tap on apple ID and sign out. Sign back in with the new apple ID.

I think I have a solution. Go to settings - mail, contacts & calendars - and see if there is more than one icloud account. Once you delete the extra account, you are good to go!

Similar was happening to me and this did the trick:

What to do after you change your Apple ID email address or password - Apple Support

I had several services like Facetime, Messages and some in iCloud still appearing as using the old account.

You might want to give it a chance

I have the same issue and I believe I know what's causing it. It started happening to me when my iClould storage got full. If you delete something and lower the storage (or buy more storage) I believe that the issue should be resolved and that message won't appear again.

I found that turning off Facetime and logging back in fixed the issue. For my case the issue appeared to be Facetime was using the me.com address I used to set up my account and wouldn't let me log in. Changing the email to my iCloud address fixed the issue.
